Jennifer graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Ontario. Originally from the West Coast, she previously owned and operated her own wellness clinics. She now enjoys a slower-paced Cariboo lifestyle alongside her family, friends, and two dogs.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has focused on preventative care, rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and women’s health. Outside of Cedar Valley Massage, she enjoys golfing, weight training, cycling, listening to music, and travelling. Jennifer looks forward to welcoming you to the clinic.

Welcome to Zen in the City Registered Massage Therapy. If you are booking your first visit with Amanda Thompson, RMT, please select a 45-minute or 60-minute session to allow time for an initial health assessment. We operate out of two distinct locations—including our 100 Mile House clinic, which maintains a 2–3 week rolling schedule—so please ensure you select the correct booking link. Both locations feature dedicated client parking and a comfortable reception area where your therapist will greet you. If your preferred time is unavailable, you can join our waitlist to be automatically notified of any openings.
We offer direct billing for most insurance providers upon completion of our Consent for Authorization of Direct Billing form; however, we cannot directly bill for ICBC or WCB clients. Please note that we enforce a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, as well as no-shows, will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the original service price. We accept all major payment methods and look forward to working with you.

Our goal in each session is to guide you through the process and help you with what you need. We will work together with you whether you have set accomplishments for yourself or you prefer to focus on a different goal during each session.
We want to make sure that you are getting the help you need and believe that you deserve to be heard, validated and respected for taking a charge and working on your healing journey.
Our therapists approach treatment sessions in a flow manner based on what comes up in your life and how it affects you rather than focusing on a strict, one path towards healing, which can be limiting and often invalidates your needs at the moment.
